Despite opposition from locals due to the tragic suicide of a farmer in New Delhi, actress MP Hema Malini didn't cancel her dance festival Krishna Mahotsav in her constituency Mathura.

The festival saw several Bollywood stars like Shraddha Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari performing.

The actress announced that the proceeds of the mahotsav will go towards the rain-hit farmers' relief fund.

The biggest applause from the audience came for Dharmendra who made a rare public appearance with his wife.
