If sources are to be believed, a sense of deja vu has swept over producer Vashu Bhagnani. Close on the heels of Bipasha Basu refusing to promote his last film, 'Humshakals' (2014), Arshad Warsi has apparently washed his hands of the publicity campaign of his next, 'Welcome 2 Karachi'.

Arshad attended the trailer launch after which he has gone missing from all other promotional events.

Sources say the actor, who was taken on board the project at Bhagnani's behest, recently had a fallout with the producer. `During an event for the film, Arshad had a heated exchange with a few key people of the team, including the producer himself. So he has decided to stay away from the promotions,` a source suggests.

Arshad and Bhagnani remained unavailable for comment.
