In what appears to be the latest development in Abhishek Kapoor's ambitious adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations', veteran actress Rekha will no longer be a part of 'Fitoor'.

The actress, who was to play the role of Miss Havisham, is said to have been replaced by Tabu who was last seen on screen in the much-appreciated 'Haider'.

Fans are no doubt disappointed as they were looking forward to seeing Rekha on the big screen. Apparently, the actress was not happy with some scenes that had already been shot and wanted to have a second go in front of the camera.

Film critic Rajeev Masand took to Twitter to share the news.
