Pakistani singer and actor who has made his presence in several Hindi films is now looking forward to his next venture Deosai, an Urdu-English bilingual action drama that will mark his international debut as a producer. The 35-year-old will also be acting in it and hence he is undergoing intense training to prepare for his role in the film.
To master the martial arts and kickboxing, he has hired one of the best trainers in the field to help him get into shape. "I started the preparation a week ago and will keep going for another seven to eight weeks before we start shooting in August," said Zafar. The actor trains for two hours daily at a mixed martial arts (MMA) club and has a special protein diet planned out for him.
The film,Deosai, will be shot on one of the highest plateaus in Asia and has some fast-and-furious action sequences. "We will fly down trainers and action directors from abroad to add authenticity to the film," he added.
