Maanayata Dutt has her fingers crossed. Thestar-wife, who recently paid a visit to Sanjay Dutt who is housed at the Yerawada Prison, Pune, is happy that her husband will be home this year-end.

She confirms, "I met Sanju over the last weekend. If there are no glitches, I pray that there are none, my husband should be home in December."

Earlier, there was news that Sanju would finish his prison term by August end-early September. And a little later, one of the family members spoke to an industry source on how his release may come through only in early 2016 because he had availed of an extension in his furlough during Maanayata's illness.

Obviously, everyone's calculations were wrong. It is none other than Maanayata who confirmed. She also adds that Sanju is looking leaner than he was five months ago. "He has lost more weight since the last time he was home. And he is more determined than ever to continue with his fitness regime," she says, adding, "While his first concern is always the kids, his next question is to enquire about his friends in the industry. He tries to keep himself abreast of what is happening at the movies. He is upbeat and in a positive state of mind."

Besides Umesh Shukla, the director ofAll is Well, who has already spoken of his movie with the actor, Maana is aware of two more filmmakers who have shown their keenness to collaborate with the beleaguered star.
