Mandira Bedi has quit as host of the popular game show "Deal Ya No Deal 2" on Sony TV citing prior commitments.

"In series three of 'Deal Ya No Deal' some new elements are being introduced. This requires extra time for rehearsals and due to my prior commitments to cricket I would be unable to devote the required time to the show," said Mandira in a press release.

Series three of the game show begins April 28 at 8 p.m. with a new look and new host. It will be telecast once a week on Fridays.

Host of the first series actor R. Madhavan also left on grounds of time constraints.
