Aditi Rao Hydari plays a deaf-mute girl in director Subhash Kapoor's Guddu Rangeela.However, unlike her innocent character who is abducted by Guddu (Amit Sadh) and Rangeela (Arshad Warsi), the actress outwitted her co-actors during the shoot of this Sangeeta Ahir production. One such instance was when she hid Amit's prized possession, a racer cycle, along with his shoes and laptop.

Aditi recalls, "It was my day off and I went to check what Amit and Arshad were up to. They had gone to shoot and Amit had left his room unlocked. So, I took his cycle, shoes and laptop, and hid them in my room. Naturally, when he returned, he was livid."


To calm him down, she invited him to her room for chai-coffee. Although Amit initially declined,, he reluctantly went to her room. When he realised he had been pranked, he laughed it off. Says Amit, "Usually, I'm the mischief-maker. I've played some really bizarre practical jokes on my friends. I leave my room unlocked out of arrogance, thinking, who will touch my things? But Aditi had me with this prank! It was good to be at the receiving end for a change."

Asked if she would play another joke on her co-actor, Aditi says, "Yes. Amit is a cool guy. We share a good rapport having done an ad together before this film." Amit concedes, "Aditi is a good friend and would regularly check on me when I had fractured my leg. And when a sweet girl like her plays a prank on you, why would you mind or get angry?"
