Actor Farhan Akhtar has been roped in as the new face of online marketplace Askmebazaar.com.

As per the terms of the contract, the actor will endorse the company's products and services through advertising campaigns, which will run across TV, print and online channels rolling out from August 2015.

"It's a great feeling to be associated with Askme as the brand resonates fashion, style and attitude and guarantees every purchase with its unique trust seal," Farhan said in a statement.

Manav Sethi, Group CMO, Askme said the brand is happy to have Farhan on board and are looking forward to building a strong connect with consumers.

He said: "Farhan Akhtar who wears different caps of a singer, lyricist, actor and director, truly exemplifies our brand philosophy which is defined by simplicity, great design and ease of use with contemporary Indian features."
