Director Sanjay Gupta has now turned author. The filmmaker, who is busy with his film Jazbaa starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, always wanted to write.

The book is a compilation of short stories. He was keen to make some of the stories come alive on the big screen, but he feels they were too dark.
