While acting keeps her happy, this leggy lass has no plans of becoming a producer, a choice that comes naturally to many stars in B-Town. According to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, Deepika said that she'd love to do production work, but not to be a producer and that the job of a producer was complex.

The actress has apparently caught the fancy of Bengali filmmakers after playing a Bengali character inPiku,reports Mid-day.com. If buzz is to be believed, some directors and producers from Bengali film industry have approached Deepika with film offers, the report stated. The report quoted a source saying that Dippy's team has received calls from leading Bengali filmmakers who are keen to sign her for their projects.

Deepika Padukone definitely has her head on her shoulders. While she is currently at the top of her game, she is not insecure of her position or scared of losing it all. The actress, hence, doesn't want to shift her attention from acting to other, more lucrative avenues. It is due to this reason that the actress doesn't want to don the producer's hat anytime soon. In an interview with DNA, the actress has been quoted as saying that while she would love to do production work, she doesn't want to be a producer. She further clarifies her stand by saying that if she has a team that will do it for her, then it would be fine with her as she doesn't think that she has the bandwidth or capacity to take on the role of a producer. She reveals that she has no sense of math or money and that if someone has a great script and needs to add her name to greenlight a project, she would be happy to do it. She asserts that she has no business sense.
