Once again, Ali zafar is featured in coke studio after a long break on Public Demand. Coke studio that became a phenomenon both in india and Pakistan probably owns its root to its first sufi fuzon rendition that Ali had done in its first season with saeen tufail followed by his haunting renditions of dastan e Ishq, nahin ray nahin and yar dhadhi ishq, a melody which even Mr. Bachchan tweeted as saying it gave him immense relief during his days in the hospital.

With these renditions ali showcased another side of his musical talent. And this time he plan to step it up by coming up with a totally new style of music and vocals. He sang three songs, belonging to a different genre from rock to jazz to punjabi sufi.

Also being a style icon ali will be seen with three different avatars for each song. The song rockstar is meant to be a spoof on Ali's own rockstar, pop star and film star persona and lifestyle.
