Ranveer Singh, who has been shooting for 18-hours a day at Film City for the past two weeks, was caught getting ready for action by photographer Raju Shelar on Tuesday morning at around 9am. The actor, who plays Maratha Peshwa Bajirao in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming period-romance, 'Bajirao Mastani', filmed an action sequence for 12-hours straight.

"Ranveer was filming alone, Deepika Padukone, who plays his second wife Mastani, was not around. Over a dozen white horses were being prepped for action as the actor walked out of his vanity van, in full armour, bronze headgear in place," our photographer informed.

Mirror had earlier reported (August 31) that come September and Ranveer, in full armour, sword in one hand and shield in the other, will ride into the battlefield on a white stallion. Well, there's plenty of sword fighting and physical combat in store for the actor for the next month too. Everyone's hoping his shoulder, which he injured when he fell off a horse, while shooting in Jaipur, holds up.He had to undergo a surgery on April 3, and has been in physiotherapy for over four months. But looking at him in battle mode, no one would suspect that he had an Achilles' heel.
