Irrfan's younger son Ayaan reached out to his father recently in a unique way.

While Irrfan was shooting in Lithuania, Europe,Ayaan communicated to him on a microblogging site, also asking him mature questions like, "What inspired you to act?"Irrfan replied, "A dream that I could tell my kids and audience wonderful stories." Amused by his son's gesture, he added, "You seem to be a wonderful boy Mr."

When asked about this camaraderie, Irrfan, who is now back in town to promote his filmTalvar, told us, "It was very moving and I was quite surprised. I felt emotional and realised how much we miss each other as a family."
