Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan who is not keen in doing Hollywood films believes that Hindi cinema should grow so much that there are no comparisons with the West.

"I am happy being here. I have earned respect here and it has taken time for me to achieve it. I will have to work again to earn that respect and love there (Hollywood)," Salman told reporters here at the event of his newly released film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".

"If the film is related to us (India...Indians) then we will see. But I have no interest in doing it (Hollywood films). Hollywood. Our Hindi film industry should increase (grow) so much that there should be no comparison. We are happy with our record (Box office record) of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' abroad," he said.

The Sooraj Bharjatya directed film has earned Rs 250 crore worldwide.

Salman who played a double role is happy with the success of the film.

"I think this (double role of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo') was better than 'Judwaa'. To break our own record is better and I believe in it as it means one is growing. I hope the record of each film (irrespective of actor) breaks as it is good for the industry," the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" star adds.

While for the leading lady Sonam Kapoor the biggest compliment is of Sooraj Bharjatya.

"I don't understand numbers. People have praised me in the film it is overwhelming. He (Sooraj Bharjatya) said I have done quite well and it's a big compliment for me as the director has liked my work," she adds.

Though the film has commercially done well but the critics have given mixed response.

"It happens as everyone has different opinions and we respect it. Today people are reserved about emotions...It takes time for them to accept anything. It's all complicated today. People think do such families exits today...We have mellowed down violence..we just kept all simple," the 49-year-old actor added.
