Salman Khan sent a special video message for the differently abled kids who came to attend the 1st International Film Festival for the Persons with Disabilities (IFFPwD) being held at Siri Fort, New Delhi from December 1-3, 2015 where `Bajrangi Bhaijaan` was featured in the gala screening.

Kabir Khan with the child actor Harshaali Malhotra came especially for the screening of the film on Day 1 of the festival and also did an interactive session with the enthusiastic young audience.

Salman who was apologetic about not being able to attend the festival sent a very heartwarming video message for the kids attending the festival.

In the video clip, which was played in the Opening Ceremony on December 1, Salman said, "This Film festival is a great initiative and a noble thought. Cinema, movies and Entertainment is a big part of the Indian culture and I think everybody should be a part of this culture and why should the differently abled people be left out of this? Many who can see but not hear and some who can hear but not see, they all should go and enjoy and should be provided with the necessary facilities."

When asked about what was going on in his mind about disability while making the film, Kabir Khan said, "When we were making `Bajrangi Bhaijaan`, the very important thing that we wanted to show was that everyone forgets that Munni (Harshaali) is disabled, we wanted to bring in that dignity and spirit of normal person in her and treat her like normal, regular person. This was the entire viewpoint of the film."
