Anurag Kashyap has decided to title his film based on serial killer Raman Raghav as 'RR2'.

He had initially titled it 'Raman Raghav 2'.

The Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer just wrapped up a schedule.

The reason for the rechristening is because writer-director Sriram Raghavan recently released a documentary on Raman Raghav titled 'Raman Raghav'. So, Kashyap felt a change in title was needed.

The film will do the festival rounds and buzz is that he is planning to premiere it at the Cannes film festival in May.

Raghav, who committed a series of murders in the 1960s, is said to have been one of the most notorious serial killers in the country.

He would bludgeon his victims to death by using a sharp object.
