Ang Lee's Oscar nominated ‘Brokeback Mountain' has nominated many directors around the wrold to explore the shady subejct of homosexuality.

In such similar attempt, ‘When Kiran Met Karen', New-Jersey based filmmaker Manan Katohora has roped in our very own Perizaad Zorabian to play the lead role.

Set in New York the film is about nn Indian woman, Kiran, who discovers another facet to her sexuality when she has an affair with a Chinese woman called Karen.

Perizaad is quite excited about the role, also said in an interview that if required she would not hesitate to do bold scenes also.

Another film based on lesbianism is in the making. Titled Can't Think Straight, it will be directed by award winning author, Shamim Sarif. Lisa Ray is in talks to play the lead.
