Neetu Kapoor was conspicuous by her absence at the Christmas lunch hosted by Shashi Kapoor. In the past, Neetu has been present at the annual ritual which gets the entire Kapoor khandaan together.

This year, the new entrant to the gathering was Katrina Kaif who accompanied beau Ranbir Kapoor. Kat even gave a skip to the Christmas celebrations back home in London to attend the event. In the past, there has been buzz about Neetu and Katrina's strained relations.

During Holi this year, Neetu had posted a snapshot of Ranbir and Deepika Padukone from the 'Balam Pichkari' track of their film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' (2013).

Last year, Neetu had shared a picture from a family event, but had cropped Katrina out of it, while Ranbir's sister, Ridhima had shared the original version.
