The makers of Wazir have been on a preview drive, holding special screenings for their near and dear ones.

The film is on a one of a kind preview drive, whereby Vidhu Vinod Chopra took to screening the film nearly 2 weeks before release for a select few audiences.

Amongst those to preview the film were the family members of the cast of the film, Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan.

Separate screenings were held for Javed Akhtar and family, while Farhan's associate Ritesh Sidhwani and sister Zoya Akhtar held screenings for their friends in Mumbai.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra also held a screening for Amitabh Bachchan on the 30th of December, 2015.

Overwhelmed with the final product, Amitabh Bachchan insisted that his family too watch the film and a screening was held for wife Jaya Bachchan and Daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda too on 31st.

Jaya Bachchan enjoyed the film so much so that she invited her friends for a screening of the film on 2nd January, 2016 which marked to be the second time that the veteran actress viewed the film.

Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta too hosted a screening for her in laws in their hometown, Delhi on the 3rd of Jan. The screening was also attended by L.K Advani along with his family.

On the same day, a screening was hosed by Javed Akhtar in Mumbai for his near and dear ones.

On the 5th of Jan, a special screening was held for Delhi's CM Arvind Kejiriwal in the capital.

Wazir is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and stars Farhan Akhtar, Amitabh Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles.

Wazir is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and distributed by Relaince Entertainment. Wazir is all set to hit the screens on 8th January, 2016.
