The makers of the Hindi remake of the Tamil film 'Kaththi' (2014) which is slated to star Akshay Kumar are planning to change the film's setting.

A R Murugadoss had dealt with the subject of farmers' suicides in the original, but the Akki-starrer will take on the problem of water scarcity.

Reason? As the original was a big draw, they felt the Hindi version needs a new setting to draw the audience in again.
