Actor Rahul Khanna is doing his bit to create awareness among the people about the disastrous plight of animals in India.

In a recently shot People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) ad campaign, he enlightens people about the predicament of elephants held captive.

"We approached Rahul with a request to help us raise awareness about the plight of elephants in captivity, especially in zoos and circuses. Not only did he pose along with a baby elephant (made of thermocol) but also agreed to be bound in chains to depict their suffering," said a PETA activist.
