Rumours of Bollywood actress Esha Gupta's engagement started when the 'Jannat 2' actress took to Instagram to share a photo of herself sporting a huge diamond ring.

She had captioned the picture, "He asked and I said yes." However, on Sunday, the actress tweeted, "NOT ENGAGED..though that size of the rock is always acceptable."

She also took to Instagram to share the message and said that she was shooting for a jewellery brand and was 'fooling around'.

Here's what she wrote, "Gawd! Just wrapped the day and saw the messages. Was fooling around while shooting for this amazing jewellery brand. #STILLSINGLE ... FYI- I might be them sexy ladies,with a big beach house with 12 dogs.. And they all lived happily ever after..."

Esha previously reportedly dated director Punit Malhotra of 'I Hate Luv Storys' fame. She will be next seen in 'Hera Pheri 3' and 'Rustom'.
