The main cast of Ekta Kapoor's 'Azhar' - Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri - was supposed to shoot a special episode of a top-rated telly show as part of the film's promotional campaign. But if sources are to be believed, Nargis did not show up despite having committed to the production team earlier.

A source says, "Emraan and Prachi were present for the integration shoot, but Nargis, for some inane reason, decided to skip it causing inconvenience to the show's makers. She did not even bother to inform them that she would be unable to make it to the sets."


Last we heard, Ekta was hopping mad. Nargis remained unavailable for comment and Aman Gill, CEO of Ekta's Balaji Motion Pictures, did not respond to our text message. However, a source in the know says, "Not only this, Nargis had also promised to be part of media house visits for the promotions, but did not turn up for those either."
