Uttar Pradesh government today waived Entertainment Tax (ET) on the Ajay Devgan-starrer Hindi feature film 'Omkara' for next three months.

The decision was taken at a state cabinet meeting here, chaired by chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Chief secretary Naveen Chandra Bajpai told mediapersons that the film, directed by renowned filmmaker and music composer Vishal Bhardwaj, had a positive message for youth to desist from crime.

Most of its shooting was canned in different parts of UP, particularly the UP capital.
