Actor Shahid Kapoor says he is a "big fan" of Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal.

Nehwal lauded Shahid's character in "Udta Punjab" by tweeting: "Great work Tommy Singh what a movie loved it 'Udta Punjab'."

To that, Shahid replied saying: "Hey Saina thanks so much. (I) am a big fan, so this makes my day."
