Latest news suggests that the contestants of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa are crying foul over Salman Yusuff Khan's participation as a celebrity challenger this season. However, the truth of the matter is that contestants like Karishma Tanna and Arjun Bijlani have actually gone on record to state the opposite and have stated that, "Salman is a good performer and has been brought on the show so that we can get inspired by him," said Karishma. While Arjun said that, "Salman will be able to raise the bar and others will strive to match his level."

Also, it is crucial to note that Salman is up and against with the super stars of Indian Television who have been a part of and won several reality shows as contestants in the past and they also have massive fan followings. Speaking on these reports, Salman said that, "Being a choreographer, I am in fact under more pressure than anyone else to constantly prove myself and I can never have an off day which is surely a daunting task. Also, my choreographer is Aishwarya who is new to Jhalak while the others have got choreographers who have been a part of JDJ for several seasons but you do not hear me saying that is unfair as I believe in giving it my best and I will do so.We make a great team and I am always grateful to the love and blessings that have come my way that have paved my path in JDJ as a contestant."
