Saif Ali Khan's Chef, based on Jon Favreau's 2014 Hollywood flick, has been pushed back as the actor is nursing a thumb injury.

Also, director Raja Menon is giving the film a desi touch and casting is still on.

Slated to start in August, Chef will roll later this year.
