With teacher’s day just around the corner, TV actors talk about the special person who influenced their life!

Tejasswi Prakash: My parents and my friends. They always teach me something new. Well I even miss my teachers.

Gunjan Utreja: The person who changed the coarse of my life is Harsh Vijh. He was my teacher when I was preparing for MBA. He became my mentor and it's because of the time spent with him, that I could understand the purpose of my life. Then it's my mother who is my life coach. Every day she shares with me valuable lessons of life which keeps me grounded and motivated. She is the most positive person one can interact with.

Aishwarya Sakhuja : It has to be my father. someone who's taught me always to help others even if it means inconvenience for yourself. He along with my mother taught me to respect nature and the art of perseverance. Parents are the first teachers one comes across in life and they influence our life and personality.

Shivin Narang : I can't name one but yes life itself is a biggest teacher and teaches you everything with time. But yes I would like to say that the people around me maybe it's my parents, relatives , school and college teachers and even a stranger contributed to learn my basics of life and make me the kind of person I am today.

Roop Durgapal: My Late NanaJi, Maternal Grandfather Shri D.S.Bhatt who received President's Best teachers award in 1967 by the then honourable President of India, Dr. Zakir Hussain. It surprises me that even today his students remember him as their favourite teacher who themselves are very old now. He was known for his honesty, discipline & taskmaster.

Parineeta Borthakur: My music teacher late Paresh Roy sir from Tinsukia was someone I always looked up to. He was a real example of simple living high thinking. When he was old and unwell he didn't let anyone pick him up till the ambulance, but tried to walk. He used to hate taking favour from anyone. He was very strict as a teacher, but loved me a lot. He had gifted me my tanpura when I passed my Bachelor's of Music. I miss him every day

Mahika Sharma: I miss my teachers, I want to go and meet them Rama Di, Ananaya Di, Nirmala Di, Vandana Di, Paramita Ma'am and many more. They really taught me to be a good human.
