Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is all set to launch the second trailer of his contemporary love story, Mirzya in Delhi this Monday, September 26th.

The filmmaker who hails from Delhi says that he has a special connect with the city and that it will significant place for him.

An excited Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra shared,"I really love Delhi more than myself. I am from Delhi and have studied here. So, I'm bringing my next back to my roots. This place is also a big market for us. Whatever we do here spreads not just to the entire country but also to the entire world. That is the kind of prominence Delhi has got."

Mehra, who has directed films such as Rang De Basanti and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, believes that the city has come a long way. "Delhi is a melting pot for the country. It has carried such a beautiful history of Mughal era and its poetry and craft," he says.


The filmmaker will be accompanied by his actors, debutants Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher.

The film has been creating a lot of buzz for its unconventional music.

The music of Mirzya is an interesting experiment that has had the filmmakers deliver some of their finest, fascinating pieces ever.

The music composers have given us out of the box, pulsating, vibrant and straight from the heart music.
