Ajay Devgn's Diwali release 'Shivaay', that has become talking point for its action sequences, will not only have a wide release in India, but will also open in 60 countries simultaneously.

Reportedly, the scale of the film attracted queries from not only traditional territories, but also from non-traditional markets across Europe, Latin and South America. The film, that also stars newbie Sayyeshaa, Polish actress Erika Kaar and British child artiste Abigail Eames, will release in countries like Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and Chile among others.

Shibasish Sarkar, from the corporate looking into the overseas distribution, says, "The scale, action, and the emotional story will appeal to the audience worldwide. Ajay and the international starcast have raised expectations. So, we made sure the film reaches audiences across the spectrum."
