Kangana Ranaut has a warm, interactive, excitement-packed day with the BSF jawans in Jammu. She has been on a promotional spree for 'Rangoon,' a period drama set against the backdrop of World War II, with a lot of British influence in India at the time, the 1940s. The movie has a vintage feel to it. To keep this feeling alive in today's times, she departed from Mumbai in a classic vintage car.

The actress arrived in Jammu at 9:30 in the morning and was received by the BSF Jawans. She was warmly welcomed and musically greeted with the BSF band, along with BSF officials and their families who she interacted with.

Kangana then headed for a BSF base camp tour in their gypsy where she halted at the BSF school and happily interacted with the school children, who were very excited to see her.

She then went to the Martyrs Memorial to pay her tribute to the brave-hearts who lost their lives while protecting our country. She also placed a wreath to honour and salute their courage and commitment.

After paying her respects at the martyrs memorial, Kangana visits the BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA), which is a society for the welfare and development of women potential, where she had a warm interaction with the members of the society. She expressed her gratitude towards the wives who take care of the families and hold it together while the BSF Jawans are away.

After this, she headed to showcase the trailer and songs of 'Rangoon' for the armed forces, who were quite intrigued watching it. Kangana transformed herself into the character of 'Jaanbaaz Julia' and shook a leg with the BSF jawans on tracks like "Bloody Hell,' "Mere Miyan Gaye England," "London Thumakda" and many more. The BSF jawans too had a surprise in store for the pretty actress. They had a performance prepared for her and she was absolutely touched by their gesture. One of the soldiers even sang "Yeh Ishq Hai," her romantic track from 'Rangoon' and it stole her heart! Another gesture which completely charmed Kangana was when a jawan gave her a pink rose and coincidentally on the occasion of Rose day! She then posed for a memorable picture with the 300 jawans.


After an entertaining interactive session with the jawans, Kangana headed to the BSF camp stadium, where she interacted with the BSF jawans family members. She realises it isn't an easy life for them, so she gave them a heartfelt motivational speech, and also thanked them for so much patience and love.

It was already time for lunch so she headed to the officers institute where she had a formal lunch with the BSF jawans along with their spouses. It was rather heartening to see her eating with them at their mess where they all had a nice, light-hearted interaction.

Once the lunch was over, Kangana posed for a final round of pictures with the armed forces and was then dropped back by the BSF Jawans to the airport.

Kangana has been excitedly promoting 'Rangoon,' but the time spent in interacting with the BSF jawans was extremely special for her, the memories of which shall be cherished forever.
