The movie Lion has carved its way to the hearts of millions across globe. The film is roaring high decibels in every continent and getting rave reviews from the people who seen the masterpiece. It also managed 6 nominations in Oscar including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor. Recently Lion had a special screening in Mumbai which was attended by many Bollywood personalities and dignitaries.

The film was highly appreciated by the Indian Film Fraternity and loved all the characters crafted by director Garth Davis. The person who missed out the India special screening of Lion was our very own versatile actor Irrfan Khan. He was very much disappointed for missing the show as he was busy shooting in Rajasthan for his untitled film with Tanuja Chandra. But being a thorough gentleman Irrfan didn't miss the opportunity to wish Garth Davis on gifting us with such a masterpiece. Both had a conversation on the phone discussing over their respective art.

Irrfan expressed his regrets of missing the show to Garth and how deeply he is moved with the story of Lion and desired to see the film soon after its release. Garth Davis being the captain of the ship instantly surprised Irrfan by answering to his regret that he wants to hold a special screening only for Irrfan Khan in Rajasthan where he will continue shooting for couple of weeks more. Irrfan is so overwhelmed with Garth's kind gesture and agreed to be the part of special screening of Lion in Rajasthan. Preparation is on for the screening and Irrfan Khan is all excited and looking forward for it impatiently.
