Noted Singer/ Music Director Shekhar Ravjiani has once again come up with a yet another spiritual rendition. After his super successful Hanuman Chalisa rendition which was launched a few years ago by none other than Amitabh Bachchan himself, Shekhar Ravjiani gives his fans another spiritual rendition of 'Gayatri Mantra'.

When asked as to what inspired him to do a rendition of the Gayatri Mantra; Shekhar says, "The Gayatri Mantra is a prayer that unites one with the universe. 'Om' when chanted, reverberates through the cosmos giving us a sense of peace & enlightenment. Revered for generations but taken for granted today, the power of the Gayatri Mantra needs to be experienced by today's people, especially the youth.

We live in difficult times and the only way for us to regain our balance and our strength is to look within and #BeTheLight that the world needs. I hope my interpretation of this divine prayer will help the listener find strength, peace and tranquility."


Also sharing his personal connection of Gayatri Mantra, Shekhar says, "The Gayatri Mantra is a prayer that was an integral part of my life when I was growing up. A ritual of reciting those few lines till they became a part of my very being. It takes me back to a simpler more innocent time when we, as little kids listened to our inner voices and found happiness in the smallest things."

Apart from being a Singer and noted music director; Shekhar has debuted in acting too with his role in movie 'Neerja' along with Sonam Kapoor.
