With the release of Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer 'Half Girlfriend' being just eight and half weeks away, another interesting fact was revealed about the making of the film by Chetan Bhagat and the lead cast of the film.

Directed by Mohit Suri, Half Girlfriend is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name. Known for the music of his films, Mohit has delivered some of the most soulful albums of Bollywood in recent times. The director went a step ahead this time and gave it all the time and effort it took to put together this album.


The album took an entire year to be made, almost as long as it took for the entire film. The music album of the film is certainly one to be look forward to as it's touted to be one of best albums in years.

The film is slated to release on May 19, 2017.
