Makers release a making video of `Poorna,` with some striking behind-the-scenes-footage. The video showcases their shooting experience in four different locations and highlights the challenges faced by the cast and crew.

The first location is that of Pakala village in Telangana, where Poorna Malavath was born and raised. It was a place from which Poorna emerged as a superhero. The crew had a difficult time shooting in the 45 degrees centigrade weather but Rahul Bose wanted to shoot against all odds and make the place to look as aesthetic as possible.

The next location was Bhongir rock in Telangana which is touted to be one of Asia`s largest standing rocks. Rahul Bose expresses that shooting there was a cameraman`s dream because it is stunning, but is also a logistical nightmare. The crew had planned on shooting there for seven to eight days and they had to strategically plan minute by minute, camera by camera, shot by shot, and it felt more like an army expedition! To deal with and handle kids in temperatures above 40 degrees centigrade was very challenging as they had to take care of the children from getting dehydrated, yet successfully carry out the shoot.

The third location was Darjeeling in West Bengal where the crew wanted to highlight the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, a place which trains you to learning intricate details on how to climb Mount Everest. Even though the background of an institute was easy to shoot in, the task wasn`t!

Rahul Bose shares that every place was more difficult to shoot in than the other, which finally brought them to Lachung in Sikkim. Aditi Inamdar, the child artist who plays Poorna spoke about how difficult it was to walk in snow and shoot. Rahul Bose also speaks about his team`s distress because wherever they had gone on a recce and chosen a location, the roads were closed during the actual shoot, making the crew take instant problem-solving decisions of alternate shooting arrangements.

`Poorna` is a biopic on the youngest girl to climb Mount Everest against all odds, with immense grit and determination to achieve her goals. The film`s shoot was difficult and demanding for the crew and Rahul Bose shares, "If you`re making a film on the youngest girl in history to climb Mount Everest, then you have to start at 45 degrees centigrade on the flat-lands of Telangana and end up on Everest. There is no way out."

Directed by Rahul Bose, Produced by Rahul Bose Productions, Raay Media Pvt Ltd and Co-produced by Amit Patni, `Poorna` is slated to release on 31 March 2017.
