'Padmavati' Deepika Padukone spotted carrying the History Of Rajasthan!

The actress was spotted exiting the Mumbai airport yesterday carrying a copy of 'A History Of Rajasthan' by Rima Hooja during her arrival in the city from a brand event held in Delhi. Seems like preparations for Padmavati have commenced for the gorgeous Deepika Padukone.

Deepika, who is in a midst of shooting for her upcoming titular role, Padmavati, seems to have caught fascination with the birthplace of Rani Padmini.

With flights proving to make for a peaceful reading ambience, Deepika made the most of her time by gaining insights into history.


Deepika is known to get into the skin of her onscreen characters in order to do justice to the film's premise. With Padmavati too, the actress is leaving no stone unturned in understanding the requisites of playing The Queen of Mewar.
