Veteran Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna passed away yesterday in Mumbai due to his prolonged illness. He was battling with Cancer and died at the age of 70.

He was admitted Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai due to his illness.

We can call it a coincidence that Vinod Khanna died on the same date his friend and another Bollywood legend Feroz Khan died. Feroz Khan died due to cancer on 27th April 2009 and now on 27th April 2017 his friend and colleague Vinod Khanna passed away. They both were 70 years old at the time of their death.

Actor Rishi Kapoor also tweeted about the same, "Strange coincidence. Friends Vinod Khanna and Feroz Khan die the same day 27th April. Khan sahab passed away 27th April 2009 Bangalore."

They both worked together in three films, Shankar Shambhu which was released in 1976 and later they worked together in Qurbani in (1980) and Dayavan (1987). Feroz Khan also directed these two films.
