Hollywood first couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's private security guard allegedly manhandled a foreign photographer Saturday at a city hotel where the actors are staying.

One of the two security guards of the actors, who are here to shoot for the film "A Mighty Heart", allegedly roughed up British lens-man Sam Pelf when he tried to take pictures of them outside Hotel Le Meridien here.

"I have not lodged a police complaint yet. But I did not expect this kind of treatment here by the security guards. I am seriously thinking about filing a complaint," Pelf told.

However, he refused to identify the media organisation that sent him to shoot photographs of the star couple.

Pelf, who says he was in the hotel lobby when the incident took place, said he had earlier taken a picture of "Mr and Mrs Smith".

Eyewitnesses backed up his claim, saying the beefy personnel also used abusive language and threatened to "thrash" Pelf if he did not stop clicking pictures of the security guards.

Angelina, Brad and their adoptive children Maddox and Zahara and biological daughter Shiloh-Nouvel are put up in six suites at the hotel's fifth floor where the security is tight and round the clock.

Paparazzi from across the world are monitoring every move of the stars. Photographers have mounted a dawn-to-dusk vigil of all possible exits and entries - from lobby to laundry - to catch a glimpse of the stars.

The Hollywood duo is in the city for a month-long shoot for "A Mighty Heart", based on the cold-blooded 2002 murder of The Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan.
