Toilet- Ek Prem Katha starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar is all set to hit the silver screen on 11th August, 2017.

Based on the health and sanitation conditions prevalent in the country today, film star Akshay Kumar is waiting with bated breath to bring Toilet Ek Prem Katha to audiences. `Toilet Ek Prem Katha is very dear to my heart. More than half of the rural population still opts for open defecation in India!`

He further added, `Open defecation is a serious issue in this country and this film is needed to bring to the fore, the harsh conditions in which we live. On seeing this the producers and I joined hands to create a product that would not only entertain but also shed light on issues that concern the country as a whole`.
