It's Friday. The Tricity of Chandigarh is experiencing curfew like situation due to the court verdict on Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh of MSG fame. As a result, the precautionary from the police and the administration, the roads of the city wear a deserted look. This is replicated in the cinema halls inspite it being a day when two new Bollywood movies got released. May be people are not excited by the movies as no frontline actors are featuring in them or... Let's see.

The movie starts on an insipid note where Gaurav (Sidharth Malhotra) is portrayed as a family man - Sundar and Susheel; and aspires to take Kavya (Jacqueline Fernandez), her colleague in a company at Miami to the altar and live like a gentleman and raises his family like the guy next door. On the other hand, Kavya is looking for some kind of an adventurous guy who oozes some kind of spark.

Frame 2: Rishi (again Sidharth Malhotra) - Risky is part of National Security Council which is commanded by Colonel (Suniel Shetty). Rishi and his colleagues at NSC are involved in a covert operation to retrieve documents of national importance from the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok or thus they are made to believe. Colonel is shown to be repeating the role he essayed to perfection in "Main Hoon Na". The only difference in the role is that in Main Hoon Na, he had a cause... whereas, in this movie, money is the driving factor. These NSC guys are bumping people left, right and center, and scrupulous Rishi doesn't like this and thus asks for retirement from his boss, Colonel. As in any other movie, the bad men don't like their henchmen retiring, Colonel is no different. He needs to deliver the last assignment in Mumbai to buy his freedom.

Enter Gaurav. He has been sent to Mumbai for an important deal. This is the best part of the movie where even my imagination couldn't really figure out what is about to be dished out by the scriptwriters, Sita Menon and the Directors. And it is certainly the crowning moment of the movie as the twist to the tale is certainly a whiff of fresh air.

Gaurav returns to Miami or is it Rishi. The drama ensues and Colonel sends his henchman Yakuf (Darshan Kumar of Mary Kom fame) to finish the protagonist and retrieve a disc containing vital information. A lot of action and comic sequences follow. And they are well-directed and timed to perfection. Dixit (Hussain Dalal) shown as a colleague of Gaurav is part of a number of these hilarious situations.

Jacqueline plays her part to perfection and her midriff in one of the hot moments (there are only two) with Sidharth takes the cake. Sidharth is a good actor and a good screenplay could have justified it even more. Apart from the screenplay, songs is another area which unfortunately has not been given importance in the movie. Probably, the directors have been carried too away much by Hollywood. They simply forgot that this movie is for the Indian audience and a good music is essential to Bollywood movie's Box Office success.

So if this movie dies, Raj and DK would be primarily responsible for it as they tried to dabble in too many things at a time. The screenplay should have been left to competent people and music should have been attended to. Apart from that, there are no flaws. The only problem with this movie is that it's a Masala movie and Indian audience has been exposed to quality cinema off late.

The movie shall not be able to garner much success but shall be appreciated by the movie lovers on Cable. If you are a movie buff, a youngster or have too much of free time on disposal, you must watch this movie in a theatre otherwise it's certainly avoidable in light of so many good movies in cinemas near you.
