Lucknow Central has witnessed an excellent growth of 26% by minting 3.56 cr on Sunday, despite Cricket match.

The films collections have witnessed nearly 43% growth from Friday, taking the 3 day total to 8.42 cr (India biz).

The film has garnered 2.04 cr on its opening day and 2.82 crores on the second day, followed by a positive word of mouth and the unique content which has been loved by the critics and as well as audiences.

Lucknow Central' is set against the backdrop of a jail, where Farhan plays the role of Kishen Mohan Girhotra a prisoner, who is aspiring to be a Bhojpuri singer. His life turns upside down when he gets wrongly charged with a murder, and is sent to Lucknow Central jail.

The film brings to celluloid power-packed actors like Farhan Akhtar, Gippy Grewal, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq to name a few.
