Ever since the day promos of upcoming comedy show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' have hit the small screen, many of you must be thinking that why is Elli there, because this lovely lady doesn't have even remotest connect with the stand-up comedy.

But now one of our khabroo birdie has uncovered the mystery. If reports are to be believed then they suggest that Elli has been roped in the show on the recommendation of our very own Sallu Bhaaijaan. Reports further suggest that Salman shares a good association with the makers of this upcoming entertainer. Therefore, he suggested Elli's name for the show, which has stand-up comedians pitted against each other.

Although because of her foreign origin Elli is not that fluent in Hindi, but as we all know that no one at least in Bollywood can turn down Sallu's recommendation.

It is pertinent to mention here that Salman is fond of Elli ever since the day she appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss, and at one point of time he even complimented here by saying that she looks like Katrina.
