Sidharth Malhotra - Sonakshi Sinha's recent release Ittefaq, a film that failed to carry forward the Box office charm.

The film minted 4.05 cr on Friday, followed by 5.50 cr and 6.50 cr on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Ittefaq saw a sharp drop in collections on Monday by recording 2.25 cr at the box office, taking the Total to18.30 cr. (India biz).

The no promotional strategy has backfired the film as it has not managed to keep up the box office expectations.

Given his limitations as a performer, Sidharth Malhotra seems to have tried his best but unfortunately, on this occasion, his best just doesn't turn out to be good enough for the audience.

The film proves to be third in line with films like Baar Baar Dekho, A Gentleman: Sundar, Susheel, Risky, failing to garner footfalls in cinema halls, the fate of Ittefaq further puts a question mark on Sidharth Malhotra's showbiz career.

The collections of Ittefaq have failed to show an upward trend, owing to discouraging word of mouth that has largely impacted post-release buzz of the film.

The not so good response garnered by the film, this thriller might turn out to be a box office disaster.
