Shefali Shah who took up to her passion, painting a few years ago is all set to display her artwork in Pune.

It is going to be the actress' first ever solo exhibition of her artwork.

Shefali has been receiving appreciation from her Twitter followers. She also gifted Amitabh Bachchan an art piece from her collection. The National award-winning actress gifted the painting expressing her fondness for the actor.

While we have seen her steal the spotlight with her acting on screen. Painting is a lesser-known creative aspect of Shefali's one of the talents. Now she is learning to learn the finer aspects of the art.

Last year in February, the actress took an art course at Spain's Metafora. She lists Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock as her inspiration.

After learning briefly from YouTube videos, she took up painting a couple of years ago. A six-month training at the Last Ship, a residency open to artists working in all fields of art, including photography, video, new media, sound art, illustration, cemented the bond.

The actress has been practicing the art form under the guidance of tutor Karuna.
