The entire team of Raees and fans celebrated the first year anniversary of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer action thriller.

One of the top-grossing films of 2017, Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was not a commercial success but also won critical acclaim.

Set in the 60s to 80s of Gujrat, the film showcased Shah Rukh Khan as the gangster which won him appreciation across quarters for his powerful performance.

As the film dates a year today, the cast and crew took to Twitter to celebrate the anniversary of the film.

Actress Mahira Khan who made her debut in Bollywood with Raees took to Twitter saying, "Gold⚡️#1YearOfRaees".

Director Rahul Dholakia also expressed his emotions on the one year anniversary saying, "Award or No Award, I can guarantee you, these dialogues were on the mouth of the public.. baniya ka dimaag... koi dhanda.. sheron ka zamana..
