Ever since the veteran filmmaker has made the announcement for his next war drama 'Paltan', everyone is feeling curious to get a glimpse of the film or to have some information about the film.

Now for all those who are eagerly waiting for the release of the film, here's a good news for you. The makers have finally announced the release date of the film. Also, a new poster of the film has been revealed, which also gives us an idea about the backdrop of the film.

Earlier it was speculated that 'Paltan' is based on 1962 Sino-Indian war but on the contrary, the film revolves around the India - China military clashes that took places along the Sikkim border in 1967.

'Paltan' has an ensemble cast of Sonu Sood, Arjun Rampal, Harshvardhan Rane, Luv Sinha, Siddhant Kapoor, Gurmeet Choudhary, Jackie Shroff, Esha Gupta, Monica Gill and Dipika Kakar.

The film is produced by JP Films and presented by Zee Studios, and it will release on 07th September 2018.
