Irrfan starrer Blackmail continues to win hearts of Bollywood celebrities at special screenings. Renowned names like Shabana Azmi, David Dhawan, Omung Kumar, Pooja Chopra, Vineet Kumar Singh, Sharad Kelkar, Ashoke Pandit, Anand Tiwari, Swanand Kirkire can't stop praising the film.

Producer Bhushan Kumar, director Abhinay Deo along with Arunoday Singh, Anuja Sathe also attended the special screening.

Bhushan Kumar and Abhinay Deo's Blackmail is all set to hit the screens this Friday. Early reviews have already started coming in and the quirky comedy is hailed for its quirky storyline and brilliant performances.

After receiving a thumbs up from industry veterans like Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor amongst others, Blackmail is receiving appreciation from all quarters even before its release.

A special screening was held in Mumbai wherein Bollywood biggies watched the upcoming quirky comedy.

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi shared, "Blackmail is a mad predictable script directed with such relish by Abhinay Deo, performed with unrestrained delight by a super ensemble cast led by Irrfan, Arunoday Singh & Divya Dutta."

Filmmaker David Dhawan said, "I loved the film and had great fun watching it. The concept is novel and very interesting. It keeps you engaged. The fast-paced energy of the film will be loved by today's youngsters. All the actors have a done a terrific job. I loved the new girl Anuja Sathe's work. She stood out. Abhinay's direction is top class. It's a very good attempt by T-Series to do something so different."

Lyricist and writer Swanand Kirkire said, "Blackmail...What a Waakda film!!! A director in control and all the actors in super form. Not to be missed".

Filmmaker Omung Kumar said, "Incredible! Blackmail is funny, it is witty, quirky, I just did not want to movie to end, it was so funny. It's fantastic, I wanted to see all the stupid things that are in the film and I was guessing who is going to die next. I love it, I was bowled over since the trailer, I knew what I was in for and once it started till interval, superb and after interval, it just takes off. Everyone, the writing, the direction, the cast is believable, you know that they are in this mess and how do you get out, and if you are really in that mess how do you really get out. Fantastic, be the police guy, be the detective, all the star cast, Irrfan is obviously fantastic but everyone put together, I loved it!"

Talking about Abhinay he said, "I am a fan of his from Delhi Belly, this type of film is like a niche direction that he does, but obviously Breaking Bad like of thing. You don't want it to end, he is fabulous in his work. Very few directors have this quirkiness if you freeze a frame and you watch everywhere in the film you will come to know what the director has added."

All set to release this Friday, Blackmail is touted as the best dark comedies in the recent times by reviewers.

Earlier Irrfan had expressed that he wishes 'Blackमेल' to get the best release possible, hence the makers have decided to release the film as scheduled and it will hit the screens on 6th April.

Starring an ensemble cast of Irrfan, Kirti Kulhari, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Gajraj Rao, among many others, 'Blackmail' has generated immense buzz amongst the audience.

Produced by T-Series' Bhushan Kumar and RDP Motion Pictures' Abhinay Deo, 'Blackमेल', directed by Abhinay Deo, is slated to release on April 6, 2018.
