Actor Tiger Shroff who is basking in the glorious success of his latest release 'Baaghi 2' directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, has begun shooting for his next film.

Tiger's next will be 'Student of The Year 2' produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and directed by Punit Malhotra.

Excited and elated Tiger shared the images from the sets on Instagram and wrote, "Its an absolute privilege to help @punitdmalhotra sir take the franchise forward. Thank you for the opportunity @karanjohar sir and @dharmamovies @foxstarhindi ! Loads of love! #day1 #SOTY2".

'Student of The Year 2' is the second installment of 'Student of The Year' released in 2012 which starred Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt in lead roles and was directed by Karan Johar. Now after the long hiatus of almost 4 years Dharma Productions back with the project.

The shooting has begun in Dehradun. Though there is no official announcement about the leading lady of the film there are reports which suggest that Actor Chunky Pandey's daughter Ananya Pandey has bagged the opportunity. A few days back she was spotted with Director Punit Malhotra at Mumbai airport and there were reports that they were leaving for Dehradun for SOTY 2 shoot.
