Actor Abhay Deol, who has caught the eye of filmmakers with sensitive portrayals in his two releases so far -'Socha Na Tha' and 'Ahista Ahista', will be seen shaking a leg in 'Ek Chalis Ki Last Local' which also stars Neha Dhupia.

Abhay shot for a promotional song of the film on Friday evening at Kamalistan Studio in suburban Mumbai. The song by Pakistani band 'Call - The Band' is being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. The shoot was set with the Moroccan theme in the ambience of a discotheque.

Speaking to reporters Abhay said he was extremely excited about his first dance performance. ''I've put in two weeks of hard work before this final performance and I'm sure Ganesh will bring the best out of me.'' ''I love dancing. The song is a nice track by the Pakistani band and it would surely appeal to the cinegoers,'' Abhay added.

The music in the movie has been composed by Sandesh Shandilya, well known for his composition 'Suraj Hua Madham' from Karan Johar's 'K3G'. The music is being released by Universal and HOM Records.

'Ek Chalis Ki Last Local', a fast paced thriller comedy, is set to release in December, 2006. The movie is a directorial debut of Sanjay Khanduri.

Speaking to reporters, Khanduri said the film revolves around two strangers Nilesh Rastogi (Abhay Deol), a call center executive and a middle class girl Madhu (Neha Dhupia). They both miss their 1:40 am last local train at Kurla station.

Left with a mere Rs 70 in his pocket Nilesh and Madhu, have no choice but to wait for the next train, which is after two hours. Two odd hours later when Nilesh is getting ready to board his first train to Vikhroli he is in love and has Rs 2.5 crore in his pocket.

It is an intelligently crafted story of what happens in a couple of hours with these two nocturnal wanderers, set in the backdrop of dark underworld.
