Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's highly-anticipated movie, '2.0' has finally got a release date. The flick will hit the silver screens on November 29.

Director Shankar confirmed the news on social media and wrote, "Hi everyone.. atlast the vfx companies promised the final delivery date of the vfx shots. The movie will release on nov 29th 2018. #2Point0."

Earlier, the poster of the movie gave a closer look at the Akshay's menacing avatar.

Akshay, who has never donned an evil character, was seen giving intense expressions that would definitely make the fans even more excited.

'2.0', which brings Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Shankar together for the first time, is a sequel of 2010 film 'Enthiran' (released in Hindi as 'Robot').

Directed by S. Shankar, the movie will witness a showdown between Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. The film also stars Amy Jackson, who plays a droid.
